As many of you already know, I have a novella in the works called “The Road to Rejas”.  R2R is a “companion piece” designed to give HPM fans a little further insight into what happened to one of the minor characters (Mark Roesch) in HPM that brought him to the labor pool in the  novel.

But there’s a problem.  I also have a novel that I’m working on that is completely unrelated to the world of HPM.  It’s called Streets of Payne, and I’m supposed to have my first draft done in May.  Now, for the last few weeks, progress on R2R has been basically nil.  The plot derailed, and I was on the verge of abandoning it.  Last night though, the story opened back up for me and I got about two thousand words done on it, working my way through a section that had previously had me stumped.

Now, I think it’s going to allow me to finish it out.  Assuming I have no more problems, then R2R should finish up by the end of this week, freeing me up to concentrate exclusively on SoP.

In other news…  :)

Half Past Midnight has its own Facebook page.  That’s not really new to some of you, but now I also have a unique Facebook URL to go with it.  The new URL is ““.  I invite you to drop by and “like” the site, if you’re so inclined.  I honestly haven’t kept up with it that much, but am going to try to be more diligent about it.  Really, I will!  :)

That’s it for now – short and sweet.  But don’t feel short-changed.  The less I write here, means more time to write on my stories, and hopefully you’ll want that more.

So for now, be safe. :bye:

One Response to “Leaving the World of Half Past Midnight?”

  1. I can’t wait to get my hands on both The Road To Rejas and Streets of Payne.
